I have always been interested in Holistic Therapies and knew early on that I wanted to promote health and wellness. It was very natural for me to go into school for Therapeutic Massage. I am licensed in Massachusetts, and this is my 19th year in practice. I am also a wellness advocate with doTERRA, and incorporate essential oils into many of my massages, along with my everyday life.
I have successfully completed over 600 hours of education in the Therapeutic Massage Certification Program and maintained Dean’s List status throughout. My clinical internship was 100 hours of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy.
My education included the following:
Human Anatomy & Physiology
Musculoskeletal Anatomy
Complementary / Alternative Therapies
Muscle Structure & Function
Therapeutic Massage Technique & Application
Zen Shiatsu / Japanese Acupressure
Stress Management for Optimal Wellness
Hot Stone Therapy
Intro to CranioSacral Therapy
Warm Bamboo Massage
Prenatal Massage
Soft Tissue Melting
I work with a diverse population of clients, from those seeking pain relief from their acute or chronic muscle tension, to people who just want a little time to relax. With the variety of modalities, I am able to accommodate mostly all clients with a customized session to meet their individual needs. I have worked with clients of all ages and conditions.
